      Because the same issues exist from 2016, and often far worse.

      Has he released his tax returns? NO.

      I realize he has normalized not letting the voters see his taxes, but it’s relevant because that’s what candidates have always done…until Trump.

      I’m a political atheist but any tax return from a politician is going to be sketchy at best.

      It’s a big club and we ain’t in it.

      Why and when did a presidential nominee’s tax return matter so much? I don’t see that for any other elected position and it’s not put out for any other govt position. Even if they did, it really doesn’t matter. The average or even highly educated person won’t be able to understand them and comprehend it.

      US tax system is so confusing and full of loopholes that these people pay good money to multiple tax lawyers and financial institutions to do their taxes. I don’t get what releasing it matters. They aren’t the ones that even file them. Of all the things that should be examined by the public, this isn’t one.

      Make them go through and pass a 7yr IRS audit of it matters so much. Thai is just more state distraction propaganda by both sides.

      Even in Romania (where I live and it’s considered one of the more corrupt countries in the EU), one of the conditions if you want to occupy a public position like the president, you have to release the info to the public of all your net worth, land you own, homes, valuable items (over 5k€), bank/investment accounts etc. and the incumbent president when he released them, people were shocked because he was previously a teacher and he had 6 properties, so the math wasn’t mathing.

      When will media demand the release of tax returns from EVERYONE IN CONGRESS, STATE DEPT, DEPT OF HOMELAND SECURITY, & DEPT OF DEFENSE? If Trump is the ONLY “corrupt” person who’s NOT EVEN in a DC political office now, who is being the media watchdog of those CURRENTLY OCCUPYING FEDERAL OFFICES? The bouncing ball is ONLY on Trump!

      I could care less about billionaires tax returns. Most billionaires pay next to nothing in taxes. It has nothing to do with tax evasion, corruption, or anything illegal.

      It’s simple the Uber rich utilizing the tax loopholes that were created specifically for them to pay as little taxes as possible.

      Trump may be targeted because he’s in public eye, but there’s nothing you can do about people utilizing the laws the way they are written.

      I know it’s not the peoples fault for not understanding. They don’t teach the average American about finance when it comes to education.

      If you’re tired of seeing this sort of shit maybe start looking for presidential campaigns who are attacking problems like this instead of supporting it. If you think Kamala or Trump are about to ever speak a word about it…you’re absolutely right

      I am more concerned about the tax returns of career politicians who have amassed great fortunes on the regular salary of a member of congress vs someone who had a business career before becoming president

      They have run out of ideas & distractions, the demand for release of Trumps health records & Obamas angry privileged old billionaire rant, telling black men they are not real black men if they don’t vote for Kamala is bottom of the barrel stuff.

      “You’re lucky Michelle’s not here.” did this sound a good line around the Martha’s Vinyard lunch table as a vote winner ?

      They can’t talk about the last 4 years, because people don’t like how it’s turned out, Apologies to Kamala, but she has always been way out of her depth at the federal level & is sounding more dumb, incompetent & incoherent

      There’s also the vindictive old geriatric still left in the WH who would be more than happy to see Pelosi, Schumer & Obama’s cardboard cut out, go down badly & lose against Trump

      That’s what they’ve done since 2015, just go through the Trump rotation. They don’t even change the order, just cycle through the list again and again.
