  1. And yet, it won’t make a difference. Polls will be tied, the movie called “Fake”, and all of this will be blamed on Harris as election interference.

Trump is like that toxic GF that everyone can see through except the love struck guy who thinks she’s the best thing that happened to him just because they don’t have anyone else to lean towards.

My fellow Trumpists, please look at it objectively and it’s time to cut the cord. Even if you don’t like Harris, at least abstain from voting for him…

The movie isn’t making enough money to cause much of an impact.

Maga will support the felon no matter what he does, how he acts and what he says. It’s why the founders never wanted “factions” in government.

I read the entire outline of the film and I don’t see what the surprise is. Trump is accurately portrayed as a completely reprehensible excuse for a human being with absolutely no redeeming qualities or positive value to society. I guess maybe some people (ie. MAGAts) might be surprised that Trump didn’t magically spring into being by the hand of God in his current, final form as opposed to being created and schooled by the equally reprehensible Roy Cohn.

Regardless, no one’s mind will be changed by this. MAGATs and diehard Republicans (is there any difference now?) will still vote for this traitor. Everyone else already knows what Trump is and will weep for their country and fear what millions of their fellow citizens will do in service to a man who seems to fulfill all of the biblical traits of the Antichrist.

  5. The funny part is the movie was toned down to make him look better. Let that sink in.

  6. I just checked my favorite high-seas streaming site. The movie is not yet available but “Reagan” starring Dennis Quaid is.

It´s a good reminder for the people who say stuff like ” oh everyone liked him before he ran for president” and “the MSM has brainwashed everyone into hating him”

Nope, most people always found him to be a POS. Especially New Yorkers.

I cannot see a die hard MAGA driving to a theater, spending $15 on a ticket, watching the movie, then changing his mind.  The only way this movie affects people is if a very damning scene from the movie goes viral and that scene is too difficult to ignore or dismiss.

I just can’t believe there are ‘undecided’ voters still left out there.

I also can’t believe that roughly 35% to 45% of the country is willing to vote for a rapist gaslighting compulsive liar sore loser treasonous dictator supporting traitor cruel bully phony and be totally okay with that choice.

  10. Maybe I’m one of the few, even if the movie paints him in bad light, it’s still giving him more attention than needed. He’s already calling it election interference, however if the film does well he will then use the ratings as a talking point .

It is not a “surprise” as his campaign tried to sue to keep it from getting released.

This film will probably only get wide viewing by Trump supporters if Trump gets elected. Some Trump voters will be having buyer’s remorse, others will be screaming with outrage at how fake it is. They won’t dare to go see it until after the election. Also they will not pay to see it, it will have already migrated to Prime or Netflix before they give it a go, if only for a few minutes, to amp up their outrage.

Because many people will be dumb enough to see it even though they love him. They won’t have the ability to discern that it is antiTrump until they have viewed it. It should be heavily leaked into the torrent realm or even sold for cheap to all streaming services now.

  14. While the movie seems pretty accurate about how Trump became complete scum it’s barely being distributed to theaters. Barely anyone will see it. No major studio wanted to touch it

  15. Never admit to anything, attack, attack, attack…

and now a cease and desist?

This is kind of neat. This film can mark a culture point in the country’s history. Imagine students watching parts of this during the chapter about the 2024 election.

“Convict Trump & The MAGAts” sounds like a boy band lol. I guess maybe a gang would be a better description.

I’m living in a rural area in New York now and it blows my mind that the people locally who are supporting Trump seem to be the most likely to be unwelcoming to what they perceive as wealthy out of towners like leaf peepers from NYC passing through or settling locally and influencing local politics… they have to be the biggest rubes to be toeing that line while simultaneously fawning over the most toxic example of the kind of influence they supposedly are dead set on resisting…   what even is that? The only explanation I can think of is they are getting an entirely different information stream thanks to limited Internet and what not in rural areas…. You’d have to be ignorant or a fool to think any geographic group of people is inherently any dumber or more toxic than any others… we literally are what we eat intellectually so it has to be complete throttling and manipulation of information.  I’m thinking out loud here I know this has been said many times by others…  education curriculum needs some kind of overhaul (although my experience with curriculum overalls as an educator has been less than encouraging).  What a dilemma

  20. The acting is really good.

It’s not very entertaining otherwise; but I thought it was worth watching. Maybe not worth $15 though.
