I genuinely don’t know but it would be interesting to know what the “average” sentencing is for a similar level of abuse with the genders swapped.
One way or another for this specific case that doesn’t seem particularly punitive.

Hats off to the guy for speaking up. We do need more awareness that women can be just as abusive as men.

woman must be a sociopath. You never get ‘better’ if your brain is wired like that. She’ll be a cause of misery to others for her whole life. I doubt he was the first person she manipulated and abused.

For a spilt second I thought this was a parody article about the guy who posted yesterday about peeing in the sea
1 in 6 is huge, and victims need somewhere where they can break out to. Lots of DV is abusers knowing their victim can’t escape as they have no other option

Find it impossible to understand what it would be like to be in this situation. Credit to him for getting himself out of that situation. So many feel there’s just no escape.
