    > Woodcock, a former Labour MP, was ennobled as Lord Walney by Boris Johnson in 2020.

Come now, Boris would have never appointed someone without a whiter than white reputation.

“The dossier also refers to Woodcock’s connections to Israel, including his chairing of the Labour Friends of Israel group and three expenses-paid trips to the country. Woodcock has been a bitter critic of pro-Palestine protests that have taken place in the UK over the past year since Israel began its latest war on Gaza.”

He’s not getting fired then. No way Starmer would risk another anti-semitism row again unless he’s stupid.

Luckily Woodcock isn’t also a government adviser on sexual harrassment allegations or there would have been a further conflict of interest

Incoming ITT: But, but, the Tories did it too, so nothing to see here.

Basically this guy is paid by arms manufacturers and oil companies and wants to ban groups that protest against genocide and climate change. I will never understand how sociopaths like this are allowed to have any amount of power.

Absolute absurd appointment to begin with.

UK Politicians are essentially held Hostage by Pro-Israeli groups ready to throw the antisemitic card at anyone who steps out of line.
