      “Hamburg police chief Frank Schnabel told ZDF in April he saw no legal basis for banning the organization. Likewise, Federal Justice Minister Marco Buschmann said their calls for a caliphate were “politically absurd” but not punishable by law, according to BILD.”

      But a few paragraphs before that: “The demonstration was organized by a group called Muslim Interaktiv, which is considered by German security and intelligence to be affiliated with Hizb ur-Tahrir, an organization banned in 2003 for promoting the killing of Jews.”

      So they’re known to be affiliated with a banned antisemitic organization but they can’t find a way to throw the book at them?

      I don’t understand how the justice minister can claim that there is no legal justification for banning them for *literally* calling to overthrow the government and replace it with an Islamist caliphate

      When Islamists are the majority, minorities don’t get a voice at all.

      This is just a manouvre to create some kind of agitation in the muslim world: rally at Germany, images of police intervening, news in Iran show how poor muslims are treated in europe and why a holy war should be declared by the ayatollah. Oldest trick in the book.

      It’s funny how these protests pop up during weekends. Like these clowns are working in Burger King spitting in your onion rings during the week, and calling for a caliphate during the weekend.
