Conservatives have managed to give the house the “red light” on moving forward legislation over this legal “grey zone”. The house is “seeing red” as it waits for the “green light”. Pierre Pollievre must have been “green with envy” over the NDP and liberals having pharmcare and dental care legislation that it could campaign on and put Canadians “in the black” with their expenses.
“There’s nothing legal to say I can’t take that. There’s nothing legal to say that I have to use it, as well.”
Doesn’t seem like much of a grey area to me unless he misspoke. There is no law saying they can’t have the documents, and there is no law that says they can’t use them either

“We’re stealing.. but it might not be illegal.”
As with everything political, we will learn that whatever they did *should* be illegal, wasn’t yet illegal, and that cabinet privilege protects any of them from anything.
The ethics commissioner might wave a finger or too though…
The CPC saying it’s a slush fund is so intentionally disingenuous at this point. Poilievre had no problem funnelling similar amounts of cash to it during the Harper years.
