Never really saw a lot of recruitment-eligible men out at the places I visited in Kyiv. Most were under 25, or current or former military. One guy I did meet that was eligible was very nervous being by the police booth and to be honest, he was a programmer and really not cut out for military duty. I hope they’ve gotten better at placing people in roles they’re fit for when conscripted, because as great of a person that guy was, I wouldn’t want him holding a rifle next to me, but I’d pay good money to have him flying recon drones

I’m an American and I registered for selective service at age 18 and should I have had been required to fight for my country’s survival and the welfare of my family, community, and country I would have done so. I consider those who don’t do the same cowards and I’m not sure I’d want them at my side in battle.
