    Russland installiert ein EW-Gerät in seinen Aufklärungsdrohnen, um zu versuchen, ukrainische FPVs zu besiegen. Dieses Gerät sucht nach relativ starken Videosignalen, die darauf hinweisen, dass sich ein FPV in der Nähe befindet, und sendet bei dieser Frequenz ein stärkeres Störsignal aus. Die Ukrainer sind sich dessen bereits bewusst.

      It’s so good a Ukrainian drone was able to photograph it, presumably before the Russian drone was converted to even more dangerous and destructive debris.

      The main chip RTC6715 goes for $3 on Aliexpress. The mosfet rectifier IRB3034 goes for less than $1. In all, there’s about $10 worth of electronic components on the board in the 3rd picture.

      Honestly, seems like a decent idea in theory. I wonder how well it applies in practice

      Not convinced this will be more than marginally effective. Russian engineering is not highly regarded.

      So, Russia is able to install a signal jammer on an aircraft that’s piloted via signals?

      That doesn’t seem like it passes the smell test………

      I bet they are working on, or possibly already have frequency hopping radios for these drones. There would be no way of jamming them then.

      Easily defeated, they could have used those electronics for something more useful.
