      Good. I don’t think I can stomach another “celebrity” calling a press conference because he wants to show us all his fine, new, red tractor. 

      I won’t mention any names but his parents were first cousins and so were one set of grandparents. …. and probably several others of his ancestors.

      As a Dane, I also find marriage first cousins odd.

      The reason for this is a fight against arranged marriages within certain groups we don’t like in Denmark….. namely, not integrated muslims from the Middle East.

      When the government have to spell it out, they want us to have more children, but not treating it like a family issue.

      How will this affect Greenland and the faroese tho?

      Those communities are way more insular than the rest of Denmark and cousin marriages are quite unavoidable in those areas in practical terms.

      I min familie har vi haft et fætter-kusine forhold og et hvor min onkel giftede sig med sin halvsøsters datter. Høng/Gørlev/Slagelse egnen i 1960erne og 1980erne henholdsvis.

      Jeg har ingen kontakt til den side af familien længere, men jeg ville ikke være forbavset, hvis den nye lovgivning gør de tosser sure.

      Fedt, så meget for alt det der med at man må gifte sig med den man vil.
