  1. > “The water now is really starting to pour over,” Cooper said as he spoke to viewers while soaked with rain. “If you look at the ground, whoa -,” he continued before being hit by flying debris.

    > “Okay, that wasn’t good,” he added. “Um, we’ll probably go inside shortly, but you can see the amount of water here on the ground. This is water from the Manatee River.”

Attention Media: it’s 2024, we know what hurricanes look like without people standing in them.

There was a sitcom (I think) where the main character, who’s a reporter, is competing against her father’s fame after he reported live during a hurricane. I don’t think I watched the entire series and I’m pretty sure it didn’t last long, but this is the kind of thing some reporters do to remain relevant.

I like Anderson Cooper, I’m wondering if he’s feeling the need to remain relevant.

lol that was rather harmless and I’m glad he was able to instantly shake it off, but that is indicative of the *potential* for danger. Glad nothing more serious happened.

I kind of feel like some exec at CNN hates Anderson Cooper.

I was watching CNN for a while last night and of course, the coverage was insane. We don’t need you to do this. Don’t sacrifice yourselves CNN. We get it. Hurricane = danger. I kept telling my husband “They’re gonna get hit by something!” He really enjoyed me repeating that over and over. Men! They love when we yap, what can I say?

  7. Which is why those idiots should stay in their studios! I’m not at all impressed when they go out in a storm!
