      In Brazil he said he would keep free internet for public schools even if the government didn’t keep its end of a supposed contract. The contract, however, never existed. He was lying about being hired to provide internet for schools.

      He is always claiming some BS about free internet.

      Why are people mad at a private company not providing free internet? They are charging for the hardware not the service and only for new customers. Shouldn’t the govt network infrastructure be resilient enough to handle weather events? I know Elon bad rich man but sheesh.

      The service is free, but you still need a pretty advanced phased array dish that costs $350.

      fema, elon and other ppl have given starlink systems to those in need. one starlink can provide service for 100 users. those impacted by the hurricane get starlink service free for a month.
