Das Polarlicht über Calgary am Montagabend war einfach etwas anderes.

I have photographed the northern lights around the city a few times in the last couple of years. This location has always been on the bucket list as it’s the classic Calgary view however it is notoriously difficult to catch the lights here as the light pollution is pretty much at its highest compared to anywhere else. Finally I got lucky the other night. The lights were strong enough to put on quite the show.

Not quite as vivid as the lights from [last month](https://imgur.com/WoHpqhU) or from [May](https://imgur.com/oYPlonH), but still a very impressive display considering I’m at the southern most part of the country.

Between the Aurora & the eclipse, it’s been a wild year for sky watchers.
