I would actually hate to see this happen, but only to specifically the Android part.
Do any of you not realized how fucked Android would be if it had to separate from Google as a company?
Android would fall behind in a heartbeat and Apple would take the cake even farther than it already has.

They never should’ve allowed Google to buy DoubleClick. At this point I have no idea how they could break it up without killing most of the company. YouTube could maybe stand on it’s own, but the rest of Google is entirely dependent on money from search advertising. My guess is this ends up being more like the Microsoft antitrust ruling instead of a breakup.
