Why do some of them have the “al” prefix while others don’t? Also, I noticed there’s no “stan” in Arabic at all, unlike in Turkish names for many of these countries, such as Greece: Yunanistan and Hungary: Macaristan.
The transliteration seems weirdly inconsistent, like it’s from an Arabic dialect rather than MSA (modern standard Arabic).
