MISAMO bangs!!! I like how sweet the song and choreo are in contrast with the high fashion looks here in the MV. The whole video felt like a mini-movie in itself.

The song is gorgeous the video is gorgeous everything is perfect – I’m so glad MiSaMo exists, and that the team clearly has such a cohesive and well thought out vision for them. Even though the track is clearly different to Do Not Touch and Marshmallow, it still fits so well into their discography. Congratulations to the girls and everyone who worked on this!

I really like the Visuals and creative direction of the MV. I love how happy and smiley the girls are depicted in the video! I need that Performance Video asap, the choreography with many dancers looks amazing. The songs itself is cute and vibes, makes you wanna sing along. I do feel like the flow between the more “rap” heavy parts isn’t perfect to my ears, but that’s only a very small pet peeve. The choruses are very very cute. Obsessed with that pink ShaSha look and their retro fits in the beginning!
Having recently listened to the original, MISAMO really did it justice and hope Amuro and the Japanese crowd embrace it! (It’s already doing well on charts)

Before I made the connection to the 16 years ago bit at the beginning I was like “am I crazy or is this Namie, one of my earliest obsessions in goddamn middle school?! Do the kids know her?? Are they trying to replace her?”
That being said I enjoy this cover, it’s cute and classy, they make it their own in a respectful fashion. It does remind me how much I miss Namie’s amazing catalog though :/

A fun song for sure. Feels like it could do well in Japan, certainly at the concerts. Choreo is fun and the styling is great.
Interesting that MISAMO’s prereleases tend to be chiller, happy songs before the title comes to hit us.
Only real complaint is when these MV’s turn down the volume of the track. At least it’s at the end, but this one takes ages to get back to the normal level lol.

A fantastic cover that modernizes a jpop classic. Misamo are Namie Amuro’s daughters confirmed.
If they follow the same trend from Marshmallow and Do Not Touch, then I predict the main title (Identity) is gonna be a lot more hard hitting.
