I don’t know if I’m more surprised at seeing a non-mouse rat model that studies humans with the targeted trait and has promising, practical results, or if I’m just this surprised that this sub actually has some real science intermixed with the pseudoscientific ads for snake oil.

My problem with intermittent fasting is that for some it doesn’t seem possible to actually do.  Some have such drops in blood sugar levels that they get sleepy and dizzy, so there’s no choice but to eat something.  I’d love to see ideas on how to get around that issue.Â
