      I’ll say this every time the joker could have the name changed to the clown, the references of Gotham removed, and it would be the exact same movie. It was a studio grab at attention, this is just someone who has no idea what to do with a brand they care nothing for.

      Is it even a comic book adaptation? Which comic is it adapting? It’s just a character study with a Joker coat of paint. Which is fine, nothing wrong with that (though plenty wrong with the movie itself). But to call it a comic book adaption is just plain wrong.

      I’m going to wait until this is on MAX but I can already tell from how overblown the reactions are that I’m going to be resoundingly fine with this movie and I’m presuming that it’s detractors are as overblown as both the detractors and praisers of the first one were; it’s probably just a competent enough middling movie with good performances and some 2nd-hand style that is entertaining but not worth a repeat viewing, like a slightly worse version of the first one. The whole dogpile of articles on it since it’s release just reeks of turning criticism into a meme.

      This is clearly written by someone paid for hyperbole and doesn’t actually watch movies… go watch Meteor Man, Robot Ninja, Spawn, the 80s Captain America movie, Steel, Birds of Prey, and I haven’t even started to name almost every single Marvel movie made…

      When we dumb humans gonna learn… it’s our opinion man. And using objective language when expressing a subjective opinion makes the world recognize you’re a bonafide objective dick.

      It’s not even the worst comic book movie this year. Madame Web was much worse. At least it has some strong acting in it, the script is terrible though.

      This is a moronic take and not even worthy of a reply(but I will anyway) There’s been many comic book movies that were AWFUL like Green Lantern, Justice League, The Eternal, and many others.

      The new Joker movie wasn’t a comic book movie anyway but comic book movie fans can’t accept that even though Todd Phillps was pretty clear about it.

      It has its moments. But seems so much of the singing was out of place. Also when he starts talking up close and personable with the jury, I felt like Harley did at that moment

      Wrooong!!! The Spirit is the absolute worst comic book film of all time …and forever… the god damn aliens will come and before they blow up this planet, they look at each other say God damn that Spirit movie was a real piece of shit. I can’t believe Samual L Jackson was in that.. I know right… Bam brains sucked out… thank you for taking this journey and continuing to do so. Don’t watch Beetlejuice 2. Just grab 40 bucks and light it on fire..watch the first one two times in row.
