    I think this is a great option if there was some sort or rigorous certification process. This doesn’t certify that the author didn’t use AI, and there’s no test to prove otherwise (and there never will be).
    How about just write the books, if they’re good enough, there’ll be an audience.

    Sad that this even has to be discussed, but I’m glad that it is; we need to start separating the genuine content from the fake AI slop. Personally, if this went into effect, it would at least help me to avoid every single AI-written book I come across.

    A certificate of quality would be a far better option, but I guess they can just just automate this one with crappy AI detectors (if there’s any attempt to validate content).

    Better, just don’t try to sell AI books as they are not copyrightable.
