Former President Donald Trump’s return to the site of his assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, for another campaign rally this weekend did not leave swing voters impressed, according to new polling.

An analysis by Impact Social of 37,000 online and social media discussions made on October 5 and 6 using the term “Donald Trump” found that 82 percent of people had negative or neutral sentiments toward the Republican nominee.

Trump’s rally just isn’t resonating anymore; people want fresh ideas, not the same old stuff.

Was it the fact that he babbled like an idiot, that he meandered meaninglessly like a senile old man, or that he just sounded batshit crazy?

  4. Kamala said go see for yourself and then you’ll see which is the better choice

Who are these swing voters? What divine signs are they waiting for?

  6. We upvoting newsweek article that cites an analyis of social media posts as evidence of the claims? How does Impact Social identify independent voters social media posts?

  7. Larry-fine-wine on

It’s an analysis of social media posts. So, meaningless clickbait.

Downvote Newsweek, people. It’s not journalism.

Give it 2 hours before Newsweek publishes a doom article about PA.

I don’t even need to watch it to know it was 95% whining about democrats and 5% vague policy promises with no real remedy

  10. His rallies are so boring. Its the same old crap he has been saying for the last 10 years. When he loses the election, I will be downvoting every article about him until he is gone from the news entirely.

  11. What’s that? You’re telling me that the vast majority of voters DON’T like hearing the manic, rambling thoughts of a degenerate racist?

    Who could have imagined…?

Sane people don’t want to re-elect someone who apparently idolizes Halter and always plays the victim. It’s shameful of Anton to even consider voting for this person:

There is a reason Kamala invited people to go to his rallies. She wasn’t being facetious.

  14. OkPlum7852 on

How? How are there still swing, undecided, or anything like that voters?

  15. The only people impressed with trump rallies are too far gone to reason with. VOTE.

As a locked in Harris voter, I recognize not everything she does or says is for me. I’m safely in her column and she needs to win over other potential voters.

Trump just keeps winning over the same voters who would’ve voted for him regardless.

  17. I went to this rally as it wasn’t too far away and wanted to see the circus in person.

Parking opened at 7am and gates opened at 10am. Those are the people in the stands. They started parading the local leaders out at two and DT didn’t come on stage till almost six. All the opening acts were droning the same lines about the three people killed/injured in July and by the time he took the stage the crowd energy was waning. Good size crowd, 25-30k, many vendors ran out of food and people got annoyed.

I chatted with several nice people around me, but listened more than I spoke. The conspiracy theories just flowed freely as if they were fact, defiant of logic. Decent number of people started leaving about the time Elon came up and started rambling. Don’t blame them, the shows too long, it’s like a 10-15 min walk back to your car and it was terrible traffic getting out as you’re on some county backroads.

Side notes: I’m not complaining about commemorating the injured/fallen, it was just way over the top. Whole bit could have been done two and half hours.

The number of people needing medical attention on a 70 degree day was almost comical if it wasn’t so sad.

And there’s people on the Democrats side clutching their pearls saying
“OMG TRUMP IS GONNA WIN CAUSE HE HAD 15k AT A RALLY HE PLANNED FOR WEEKS INA CENTRAL LOCATION THAT HAD A LOT OF OUT OF STATE PEOPLE VISITING TOO! WERE DOOMED”

Please stop. The independents swung for Trump in 16, but wised up to the bullshit and swung for Biden, and given all the data, are swinging toward Kamala this time.

Independents decide this election. The end.

Who are swing voters in the year 2024? Who is still questioning who they want to vote for? These aren’t the candidates of 20 years ago that, at times, had nuanced views about certain subjects so looking into their policies was a good idea.

I just don’t think they actually exist anymore. If someone says they’re not sure about Harris or Trump, I’m going to assume they’re reading the room and are embarrassed of who they really support.

  20. DegenGamer725 on

Now where’s the other article that says Trump’s Pennsylvania rally spells doom for Kamala Harris

  21. johnmaki12343 on

How are there any swing voters? This isn’t a center left and center right election, it’s lunacy, lies and Christian fascism vs normalcy. What are they undecided about?

  22. These undecideds are the assholes who wait until they get to the from of the line to decide on what they are going to order and then ask the cashier a million questions like how long are the burgers cooked for, what brand of bun do you use, can I get catsup instead of ketchup on my burger.

  23. rumpusroom on

“I’m looking for an excuse to vote for him and he just won’t give it to me.”

  24. Who are these ‘swing vote’ people? I really want to know so I can tell each and every one of them to go fuck themselves.
