Cabinet reshuffle after 3 months….not going well is it.

It’s rumoured that the reason why Morgan McSweeney, who is part of the Labour right, wants Sue Gray out is because she has been too defensive of the “soft left” camp, like Ed Miliband, Lisa Nandy, etc. And it’s entirely possible that he will push for a cabinet reshuffle after the budget, so if you think Starmer can’t shift anymore to the right, just wait until McSweeney gets his say in all political decisions!

I thought Keir Starmer was competent enough to make this position less relevant. At least that is the message Labour should put out. Compare to Boris Johnson who really benefitted from Dominic Cumming’s for both strategy and management.

Can’t say I’m surprised for the infighting to start amongst some of the country’s worst careerists and backstabbers.

Say what ya want about ‘New Labour’ and the Caledonian mafia, but they never let this shit happen. Leaking and briefing was always a top-down thing – not lateral, like a bunch of children not knowing how to handle being in power.

Don’t tell me he’s found a way to make Labour even more like for Tories?

The line “We’re expected to be running a powerful G7 economy yet sometimes it’s all quite small and analogue.” hits hard for me. Couldn’t agree more with that but I don’t see much of a big picture emerging either.

Ah, so more jobs for the lads it is then! I’m glad they’re speedrunning their main interest in politics: ensuring all their mates get cushy government positions and pay rises while the country continues to crumble.
