I’m working on a Hearts of Iron IV mod that explores a universe in which WWI ended in a Staleamte. Austria-Hungary still collapsed, and the Slovakians and Czechs still desired to leave the Empire as a unified, strong nation. The Habsburgs, however, seeing how their lands were being reduced to Austria proper by rebels, and not wanting a powerful, Slavic nation right at its doorstep, requested assistance from the German Kaiser (who managed to not get deposed in this timeline). Berlin pressured the Czechs and Slovaks into forming two separate entities. In 1936, the desire for a union between the two nations is still strong.

I need assistance deciding who would be the leader for Slovakia in this alternate timeline.
