I personally feel like Ukraine’s long-term MBT solution is either the Leopard or Challenger, just because the logistics of the U.S. supporting the M1 in Ukraine is problematic considering trans-Atlantic lift needed. But, if it’s as popular as the Bradley seems to be, then maybe the M1 is, and worth the extra logistical requirements.

If the UA asks for it, I’m all for giving it to them!

M1A1, not M-1A1. Yes, Forbes got it wrong. Dashes in designations for US equipment are reserved for aircraft, their armaments, and electronics. There are a few personal weapons as well, but they are the exception, not the rule.
M1A1, M2A3, M249, M4A1 as examples. Electronic examples with dashes include, AN/PVS-14, AN/PSN-11A, or AN/PRC-148. Examples of aircraft include F-16C, A-10A, or UH-60M.
