MicroRNA, not to be confused with mRNA, is a key finding in genetic research and its role in Transcription has been enlightening in a number of research fields. Applications can range from the popular discussed “cure for cancer” to curing or threatening genetic diseases.
In the recent years mRNA and MicroRNA technology made giant leaps and we enter a new era of medicine where the blueprints of cells are no more a realm where no intervention is possible.

The 2024 Nobelprize is awarded to the lifetime research of Ambros & Ruvkun and their breaktrough findings. This follows in line with 2023 award for mRNA research and underscores the importance of this research in contemporary biotech.

What are your thoughts on the Future of MicroRNA and mRNA research and practical medical applications?
