Seashells were found in the area as well. While submerged, the Sphinx had suffered significant structural damage over time as it wasn’t protected behind white limestone casing blocks like the Giza Pillar, and so the monument that once represented Anubis (a dog) crumbled into what it looks like now, a really long body with a stumpy head.

  2. Here’s food for thought, many places show signs of water erosion and even desserts were once known to be tropical.

Many times history speaks of the great flood in which many times people line it up as being thr same time as the flood of Noah.

It would be interesting to dig into the history with this sense of mind.

It has been acknowledged by historians that the pyramids are way way older than previously thought. Don’t think there’s any conspiracy there

And we have officially reached the point of this sub when the crazy Christians have taken over and are promoting the idea that Noah’s Ark is real.

  5. The proportions of the head to body are a mess. Sloppy craftsmanship for master builders.

Whether you “believe” in the books, there was a flood and it wiped everything out and left massive sediment deposits.

My theory is that the sand in the desert (Egypt is famously a desert) is very rough and ouchie when blown by the wind and this, combined with human damage, has left ancient Egyptian architecture looking like it does.

This is a good theory because it fits the understood facts and evidence without requiring a whole fucking ocean to have appeared and disappeared in the last 6000 years without leaving any other evidence.

In B4 “there’s shells in the sand” no shit my friend, sand in the deserts was lain down at the bottom of prehistoric oceans and on prehistoric timescales. You are right that the Sahara was an ocean and people should feel proud of working that out but the truth is stranger than fiction.

Pole shifts which are cyclical events cause massive floods and one of which was Noah’s flood but there have been many more. Generally about every 6-7k years

The great sphinx (composed of a virgins head and a lions body) represents the transition between the Age of Virgo to the Age of Leo which was nearly 11000 years ago.

  10. Maybe the Sphinx “missing” the nose is where the saying “the nose knows” comes from 😂
