Listening to Chris Stuckman’s commentary on the original 90’s film, he mentioned that SMG should’ve been the lead, and I agree. I think she wanted something different from Buffy, but her character was by far the most interesting.

I think she should appear as a ghost like Obiwan Kenobi in Empire. She could offer sage advice from beyond the grave.
