  1. Help those in need in their district to prove you’re the better person, but don’t help them individually at all.

I don’t know about you, guys, but I wouldn’t want to vote for *ANY* of the people listed if a devastating hurricane had just destroyed the house I live in…

  3. Some of the legislators yelling the loudest about FEMA are the ones who voted against them.

  8. Be sure to boycott chef boyardee who is trying to do business deals with Trump. He’s justified voting against human rights cuz of his wallet.

  9. KingKontinuum on

People will end up voting for them again anyway because nothing matters anymore 😂

  10. johnnycoxxx on

They all always do. And then they gladly take the money. I don’t know why they do. What do they gain for voting against it?

  11. aterriblegamer on

If they vote against it, their state should not be eligible for funds.

  12. AThousandBloodhounds on

All those Republican names are now listed in the Hall of Fame for the 2024 Darwin Awards.

  13. ridingcorgitowar on

Fuck, I literally got into this with my trumpy dad this afternoon.

I straight up called him out for it. He just told me I am getting lied to and I need to open my eyes.

    Fucking cults dude.

  14. Passionpet on

Are the Dems asleep at the wheel. Why isn’t this being played on every streaming platform tv channel etc?

Hurricane Milton will be making landfall in central Florida on Wednesday as a catagory 3 or 4 storm.

That list of names needs to be posted everywhere.

  16. Quicklygetter489 on

Oh look my vote, I know where it’s NOT going. (Like it ever would)

  17. The two Senators and Democratic congressional delegation from Minnesota all voted yes for FEMA funds again even though the State hardly ever needs it. Then I see all the Republicans Senators and Congressional reps from the hurricane states that voted no and always vote no to funding FEMA and it baffles me.

  18. henningknows on

We need to make these programs an opt in, states that want to vote against it and not fund it fine, they don’t have to pay into the program, but when you get hit you are on your own. I’m sick of stats like mine floating the bill for these republican welfare states that whine about socialism while contributing jack shit and then take aid every two seconds.

  19. gogoALLthegadgets on

It is SO goddamn hard to find true info surrounding this which is embarrassment to both sides. Neither one is willing to step up and say hey, here’s the truth of the matter.

From what I think I might understand, the FEMA bill was a part of a bill regarding Israel and the war on the other side of the world. I don’t believe it was a separate, fuck-Helene-recovery bill. But now a week later it’s even harder to look up and I see literally nothing about that plot line.

    I need an adult.

  20. Interested brit here – what is all this about fema funding? Is it a disaster relief fund or something?
