Switzerland is not a reliable partner. I am personally pleased about the effects.

  2. Germany spat in swiss’ face and rebuilt their own munition factories.

They are not selling to either. They don’t want their weapons to be used because they themselves are neutral. Not really a selling point for an arms dealer

I don’t even know how they could be seen as good trade partner in the military industry for wares that requires maintenance and long life. Politics spending on them think army will never be used and are just money sink to look strong.

switzerlands neutrality ends when it comes to blood money. in that case everyone is welcome.

Is it OK to use the weapons bought from Switzerland if this country gets attacked? I mean, that would mean that they would have a part in the conflict.

Switzerland uses its neighbors as defense and takes money from both sides. I wonder how neutral they would be if they were located next to russia

They aren’t making money becuase they are entering Ukraine, they are making money because their weapons can be used in other markets.

Perun made a whole video on this.

Western countries have so many orders from other countries that there is little incentive to sell to Ukraine.

The issue the Swiss are facing is that their weapons can not be given away second hand, kinda useless to own something you can’t do anything with.

This is the reason the Swiss are losing money, not because other countries are making fat stacks off Ukraine or whatever tf your title implies lol

  9. As a swiss I can say, Switzerland gets what it hopefully deserves. Ashamed to be called a swiss

  10. Neither North Korea, Iran nor any other state-sponsored military-producing country has any reservations about Russia’s use of their weapons. but in the West, there are so many restrictions on the use of weapons against Russia – that this seems not only ridiculous – but also foolish. What are you baking for ? .. That Russia loses the war in Ukraine? To me, this is a political game at kindergarten level. Russia is the aggressor here – and the ones who started the war. Thus, there should be no restrictions whatsoever against stopping them. and this by ALL means.

Wouldn’t it be fun if Switzerland got sanctioned for founding and aiding a terrorist state? Put their fines to lift said sanctions in the trillions and watch them empty out russian affiliated accounts first 🙂

  12. I wonder how much NAZI gold is still sitting in Swiss banks? I wonder if the Mexican Cartel’s have Swiss bank accounts? Neutrality? I think not. It’s called Hipocrisy.

This war will end the Swiss armaments industry. Why would anyone buy weaponry that has so many restrictions on it’s use for some states and not others. The Swiss don’t place these restrictions on some incredibly bad actors, but apply it ruthlessly to Ukraine. They need that stolen Russian oligarch money to keep flowing into their banks.

Switzerland has long been a “neutral” enabler of evil. Fuck them, they have blood on their hands too.

Switlerzand is a hypocritical and opportunistic nation and has always been.

  16. GanjalfDaGr33n on

The Swiss are spineless, casting a blind eye on evil and more than happy to accept blood money.

Well well well you reap what you sew.
Do sad for the conniving Swiss.

Someone said it here – they are ashamed to be called Swiss. They have their crony government to thank for that.
Maybe just travel restrictions for the Swiss for a year no travel without a visa to enter the EU limited to 14 days – bureaucratic slow tiresome difficult for industry etc. but what the the heck that’s the harvest you reap.
Hopefully Rheinmetall will close the Swiss factory transfer the machinery and jobs outside the country – no pint having it there anymore is there ?

Neutrality is a nice and beautiful concept as long as you’re lucky not to be drawn into a war.

A neutral Ukraine would have been slaughtered. A neutral Ukraine could not have accepted the Western military aid.

With the ban on re-export to Ukraine, the Swiss government has basically massacred its own armaments industry. Shit happens rama rama ding ding.

  20. Perhaps it is better not to sell weapons to the Germans, given the parties that are seeking power. 😥

  21. I understand why those sell-on restrictions exist, but it makes me wonder why there isn’t some sort of mandatory buyback clause as well. If Switzerland doesn’t want 30 year old anti-aircraft shells to go to Ukraine, it should be forced to buy them back.

  22. -OutFoxed- on

Switzerland makes money by any means, don’t let the term ‘neutral’ fool you. The country banks deals with the worst kind of people.

Profits or neutrality. Poor Swiss. Always on the wrong side of history, but always rich

  24. being neutral means watching guys bullying another guy and just go home to eat some candy

Im so happy that Germany doesn’t include Swiss companies into the procurement process of arms anymore. Don’t need this shit. Getting invaded and need ammo? Sorry we’re neutral. F off

  27. Shame on the Swiss leaders and their morally ambiguous country. I hope the U.S. never sticks its neck out for them.

  28. Outbackozminer on

This is good news, Switzerland should also excluded from purchasing components made by NATO and its allies given its high moral stance about neutrality and against protecting NATO and the democratic world.

Whilst Switzerland enjoys the security offered by Nato and democratic countries which surround it ,without having to contribute, not a bad deal

    Shame on Switzerland

  29. It is like there are consequences to actions *surprised Pikachu face*
