These are actors working to spread disinformation in order to attack the first amendment(in the future). How has this sub not figured it out. They will use this incident and others in order to try to modify that amendement.

It may because trucks can’t get to that area of NC. Most stuff is probably being flown in on helicopters.

Republicans run the south and they want things to get really bad so they can blame the democrats this is the truth and it’s sad that it has come to this. Rich people playing with poor peoples lives for votes.

Yeah because the bridges are all gone. Can’t get the equipment in that way.

It’s not a conspiracy. I-40 was washed out. Look at a map and you’ll see why Chicago to Asheville is fairly unreasonable now

  6. I mean. I seen some of the TikToks. There is nowhere to drive. There’s one video that a highway has literally tuned into a river. Like a river in a small canyon. So maybe he should start looking for loads to deliver to the nearest military bases in the areas that are still accessible. I’ve seen several videos of chinook helicopters unloading pallets in the middle of open fields.

People like op want the victims of helene to suffer.  They don’t actually care if aid doesnt reach them.  If they could wave a wand to have thousands dead and millions abandoned with no help on the way they would.    The only thing that matters is how they can use human suffering as a political tool.  They would be overjoyed if biden had come out and said “fuck those people. We’re flying in water to drown the rest of them”.

This is obviously a supply chain issue. Expect incoming Pete Buttegieg word salad shortly

  9. $1.40/mile is low.

I’m looking at the DAT posting boards RIGHT now. If only I could respond with a screenshot.

There are so many more loads posted than trucks available. The rates for those loads are much higher than the $1,40/mile in your screenshot.

Simply put….. There is a lot of freight that needs to go there, and a lack of trucks that want to go there.

This is an issue of supply and demand. Just like it is each and every single day on the load boards.

Corporate offices that profit off disaster supplies want to be the ONLY companies deliver supplies. So they can profit big time.

“Florida man has learned nothing in 2 years of trucking” lol
