      Doesn’t matter, his career is effectively over.

      Dude was in my friend’s DMs when she was 16 and he played at our high school. I heard he showed up to a high school party that night uninvited…like what the fuck are you doing? The girl’s parents had to ask him to leave.

      Everyone that grew up when they were popular knows an underage girl he tried to sleep with. He’s a fucking goofy goober.

      Interesting bit on CBC jut now between Dhanraj and a criminal defense attorney thy had on, Travis said something like “and now we’ll look outside the courthouse where perhaps we’ll see Jacob Hoggard come out and address the media.” then the lawyer they have in (not Hoggard’s lawyer) says “well that’s not going to happen. He was wearing a suit, and the jury was never supposed to find out, but he’s currently serving a 5 year term at a correctional facility near Toronto.”

      Damn.

      Still in jail apparently. I hated him and his music the first time I saw him on Canadian idol.

      In a court of law, he was found not guilty. In reality, we will never know whether he’s guilty or innocent.

      There is one thing we do know, though.

      And then people wonder why women don’t want to come forward… There are stories across Canada about Hoggard’s predatory behaviour. Heck, even I have been in that van they referenced in this trial. His lawyer tried to romanticize the events and even insinuated that the complainant was on medication on the stand. Like wtf

      I was a crew member for a “WE day” event he played at. He was really flirting up the high schooler volunteers back stage, a few of them went to the heady van to smoke weed.

      I have no idea if he’s guilty or not but this guy has major creep vibes.

      The goddamn government won’t disclose the names of SITTING MPs and senators who took money for foreign interference BUT we will declare publicly and ruin a man’s career on sexual assault allegations.
      No crime was committed yet he ha already paid the price.
      What an effed up world this is
