      He has to. Government spending is out of control. The federal workforce has doubled, yet Canadians don’t feel that service quality and delivery has doubled over the past decade.

      The public service is starting to crowd out the private sector. We need deep and lasting cuts.

      Every Conservative platform can be summed up in a single word: austerity.

      Poilievre is the austerity candidate and his slick presentation style will not change that.
