Conservatives hate the environment, social programs, poor people, minorities, trans-folks, women, immigrants, disabled people, addicts, etc. Basically everything and everyone that isn’t a middle-to-upper class, able-bodied, straight, white cis-man.

Once you realize this simple fact, all of their actions and rhetoric — the chaos, the lies, the misinformation, the conspiracy theories, the racism, the transphobia, etc — it all makes complete sense. It’s the central reason they’re conservative in the first place.
