As a subscriber to /r/dataisbeautiful, I would say this is not beautiful. At a minimum you need to delete the left empty half of each graph.

As a former competitive Olympic lifter, I would say this is not useful. Obviously the line goes up, but you can’t get anything more from the graph. In no way does it give meaningful data.

As a fellow human, I would say good job tracking your workouts! You’re ahead of 95% of people already.

Your training volume / reps over time and including 4 months of untracked data doesn’t really tell me much other than that you’re a beginner who probably just progressed from like 45 lb cleans to 55 lb cleans. And it doesn’t do it beautifully, either

  3. The cumulative number seems meaningless, and ignoring that it doesn’t really display progress. Maybe repost when there’s a more obvious positive trend visible?

Shouldn’t you be tracking the amount you can lift instead of how much weight you’ve lifted overall? And how many reps you can do at those new weight limits?

  5. I can’t remember the last time I saw data on here with more than 10 minutes of effort put in. JFC
