Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine the geopolitical focus on neutral Moldova became bigger. In the eastern strip of the vountry lies Transnistria, where Russian soldiers are stationed, at the west border of Ukraine. At the same time “Russian hybrid warfare” is influencing Moldovan politics. So the discussion within Moldova and within the European community about its European integration are highly interesting.
