The Saudis are ready to replace the Iranian supply with their own, the West gets stable gas prices and those buying Iranian oil will feel the squeeze.

Stay out of Isreals shenanigans!!! That’s self inflicted. Not our problem!

I kind of feel like Israel should have the same restrictions on its American made systems as Ukraine.

  4. Could someone educate me on why exactly do countries disclose their future attacks publicly? like usa and israel do, does this not give time for iran to prepare, evacuate and move targets they can move?

  5. One part of me dreads further escalation. The other part of me sees this as Iran getting to the “find out” part of “fuck around and find out.”

  6. Iran would immediately attack the oil ports of Saudi Arabia. Well they would try at least. Probably lose most of their Air Force. But if even somewhat successful it would create chaos.

  7. Should target where those drones get produced for Russia as well as where the rockets are produced, but honestly, hitting Iranian infrastructure not directly related to the attack is probably another step up the ladder to a regional war that shouldn’t be taken. Step up hitting Iran assets in Syria and Lebanon and keep the escalation on the table.

They’ll hit the oil. They’ll hit the power stations. Then we’ll get Gulf War 3 with our Rangers dropping in.

  9. Bibi: Plz

    BIden: No

    Bibi: Ok 🙁

    Biden: …

    Bibi: ….

Biden: Please do actually I didn’t tell you this tho.

    Bibi: 🙂

They cannot risk causing significant damage to Iran.

If rational, it will be a display response and that allows Israel some saved face without risking escalation with Iran.

If significant, Israel is in the driving seat of our US government and we are all in trouble.

Of course they’ll hit oil facilities. Thet’ll also hit comm centers, water purification plants, ANY actionable target of opportunity will get obliterated.

They’re serious about that “Never Again” shit.

The fact that he’s talking about this “in the clear” pretty much guarantees it’s not the main plan.

  13. Why not aim directly at the political structure instead of hurting them so indirectly?

  14. Inner_Rope6667 on

I don’t think we should say anything. Israel will do what it will do regardless of anything.

    Why not the nuclear facilities?

What happens if Iran develops their nuclear capabilities?

Increased oil prices just before the elections. Congrats President Trump.

  17. MisterRipster on

taking out oil before election is a bad idea. Better to go for the nuclear power plants.

  18. Hence why countries aligned with Saudi Arabia are ramping up production.

If the US starts another war then they should take all the refugees. I’m done with this warmongers starting wars for Israel and having the EU suffer as a result.

Can someone explain to me why Hamas attacked in the first place? Didn’t Iran need to approve this? Did everyone think the attack wouldn’t be nearly as successful as it was?

Iran can’t have wanted this outcome.

  21. The US (and others) have been threatening this for a long time, and it would be very easy to do since it’s very exposed.

We haven’t done anything because it would take away something that we can use a negotiation leverage which has been more valuable so far. Even though the status quo is a compromise, it has been relatively stable until recently.

Things change of course, and I suppose this is just a reminder of a lever that can be pulled. Whether or not the aftermath would be beneficial… that’s a hard question.

Let’s just say the CIA hasn’t had the best experiences that in history.
