These are some photos from a recent sunny weekend in Mechelen, a town about 30km north (and slightly east) of Brussels centre, in Belgium. Mechelen is not as well known by tourists compared to Brussels, Ghent, and Bruges for example, but it’s a lovely town and well worth the visit, especially during sunny weather.

Come on, OP; I know that the Sint-Romboutstoren is almost as much of a cliché for Mechelen as the Eiffeltower is for Paris, but the city isn’t well known enough to most Europeans to not include a picture of it here.
Or the city hall with the Palace of the Great Council and Belfry.
