      It’s so simple yet people just don’t get it: in order for a country to help its own citizens, they must start a civil war in order to recieve aid packages.

      The us budget is 4-5 trillion each year, the exact number doesn’t matter for this point, and most of that goes to helping Americans. It’s quite a bit more than the recent 16 billion sent to Israel and Ukraine.

      Teachers’ pensions in IL are over $100k on a regular basis. after 25 years. So, early 50’s….for life!

      Yeah I’ve never understood this “teachers don’t get paid enough” it’s probably where I’m from, but teachers near me are making $200k at retirement, I had a teacher start out of college at $115k, given our COL here is ridiculous, but I certainly don’t think that is being underpaid… and my mother is a teacher, so I understand the work involved, but $115k starting out of college, that’s ridiculous

      It is only the poorly run, oversized government schools where they pay terrible. Like in LA county, Broward county, chicago, etc.

      Where I am from, teachers start out making anywhere from 55-70k and I know for a fact our asshole gym teacher in high school back in earl mid 2000s retired making over 140k.

      Just pandering and the last thing people want is their already ridiculous school taxes to be hiked 50% to cover it all.

      Budget is controlled by congress, and teachers are paid by local governments, so Bro Jiden urging the people who can change this to do so isn’t unreasonable.

      Strongly disagree. Incentive bonuses are fine if tied to real performance. Raises are gifts if not tied to performance, and the public schools in this country are failing by any reasonable measure of measurable performance.

      How can the government and their friends get rich by paying Americans?🤮 You haven’t worked hard enough to earn peace and a raise to combat inflation. Accept the inflation and unstable society, support Israel and Ukraine, or else!

      I use to be in the teachers side. Unfortunately they like to groom our children,wave pride flags and introduce trans to the still developing minds. Fire them all and take their pension,retirement or whatever they have.
