      I wonder how much better the legacy auto manufacturers would do if they could shake off the dealership model.

      As long as they keep forcing Onstar on their cars and disable carplay/android auto they are trash cars to me.

      This article is basically an advertisment, and not even for the company that the article is supposedly about. It’s too bad for GM’s efforts that their success gets rephrased as a marketing piece for their competitor. The journalist who wrote it shouldn’t have mentioned GM’s competitor at all.

      All of the established automotive companies are pushing out very good EVs at increasingly lower prices. All with the quality you would expect from such companies. With added competition from China (certainly here in the UK).

      Meanwhile, Elon takes good engineers from Tesla and has them build his crappy truck that can take a bullet, but rusts when it rains.
