We know nothing in here will change MAGA’s mind, but hopefully something juicy for independents and those undecided!

    2. If you can’t or won’t see Trump and all that he is/isn’t from what’s already out there, this won’t change your mind.

      I’m glad it’s released though.

This is fantastic for Harris and our democracy. Supposedly there are several new revaluations, I just haven’t read it yet.

    4. Oh yea baby..

But seriously – all the mainstream media and for that fact the Harris campaign need to say is that Donald Trump tried to steal YOUR vote. This whole he tried to overthrow election thing while true dosent quite resonate with people. For people to identify with it they need to know Donald tried to take something away from THEM.

      * The defendant asserts that he is immune from prosecution for his criminal scheme to overturn the 2020 presidential election because, he claims, it entailed official conduct. Not so.*

      Great opening line ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love it, especially this ~~late in the summer~~ early in October

    7. The new evidence will likely make only an imperceptible difference, but might dissuade a few wavering Trump supporters. What is sure is that it will push Trump to become even more deranged and violent. Second, it will cost money for him to mount a defense to this, both in legal fees and public relations, so that siphons the money away from getting votes.

      .. From the filing paper
      >Where the defendant was acting “as office-seeker, not office-holder,” no immunity attaches.

This is the crux of the revision. I think success first hinges on this getting accepted.

I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?” Trump remarked at a campaign stop at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. “It’s, like, incredible.”

This has to be it. Please, please let this be it. Let this be the thing that ends Trump’s political career forever.

      Trump – “so what”

I want to see this go through the court system and have Donald Trump held accountable if he is found guilty. However, that is reason #20 for why I’m voting for Harris. Trump knows he must win or all the cases are full steam ahead and his odds of going to prison is very likely

Got summary of his illegal actions

According to the government’s motion, Donald Trump is accused of engaging in illegal activities as part of a scheme to overturn the legitimate results of the 2020 presidential election. The key illegal actions described include:

      1. Lying to State Officials: Trump is accused of making false claims of widespread voter fraud to state officials in key swing states (Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin). He allegedly pressured these officials to ignore or overturn legitimate election results in favor of his false claims.
      2. Fraudulent Elector Scheme: Trump and his co-conspirators allegedly attempted to manufacture fraudulent electoral votes in the targeted states. These fraudulent slates of electors were intended to be submitted to Congress to disrupt the certification of the election results.
      3. Pressuring Vice President Mike Pence: Trump allegedly pressured Pence, who was presiding over the certification of the Electoral College votes, to refuse to certify the election results and instead recognize the fraudulent slates of electors.
      4. Inciting Violence on January 6: On January 6, 2021, Trump is accused of directing a large and angry crowd of his supporters to march on the U.S. Capitol, where Congress was in the process of certifying the election results. His actions and rhetoric, including knowingly false claims of election fraud, are alleged to have contributed to the violence and disruption of the congressional proceedings.
      5. Obstructing an Official Proceeding: Trump is charged with conspiring to obstruct the official congressional process of certifying the 2020 election results, a key function of the federal government as outlined in the Constitution and the Electoral Count Act.

The throughline in these allegations is the use of fraud and deceit to interfere with the lawful collection, counting, and certification of election results, all of which are essential government functions. These actions form the basis for criminal charges of conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and interference with federal proceedings .

The movie is going to be incredible. They should be able to reconstruct everything that happened, where people were at the time, what they said, etc. It writes itself. The most damning part will be when Trump sat in a room watching the rioters on TV, probably drinking a Diet Coke, doing nothing for hours while the capital was being attacked. People watching will yell ‘do something!’.

Dumb question on the redacted bits I know “cc” is “co-conspirator” but what is “p”

Good God! That was an intense read. Trump is a fucking comic book villain in real life. And just when I thought he couldn’t disgust me more.
