Walz had been struggling but he landed the plane perfectly there. That’s the sound bite or “viral moment” that’s going to be played on the late night shows and hopefully CNN/MSNBC

I feel as though Vance is trying to balance out his attacks with a sense of wanting to cooperate, but does not come off as genuine, merely tactical.

On the other side, we see Walz holding back on attacking and want to genuinely cooperate and that kind of energy is infectious

Vance deflects, Walz focuses straight at the problem and tries to deal with it. A true leader

I don’t understand why Trump & Team don’t just admit he lost in 2020 lick their wounds and focus on 2024. It’s such a ridiculous hill to die on.

Vance not answering if he would certify the election is much louder than him saying “no”

I’m going to skip the closing statements

This was an old school debate, and therefore will do nothing to move the needle either way. It did however really hammer home how unhinged Trump makes things.

  6. Tim “Damming non answer” Walz

Tim “that’s why Mike Pence isn’t in this stage” Walz

Again. Some beautiful quotes from this man. Lol

Kamalahq better be working on the tiktoks

    1989:

Walz was answering his call to duty.

Trump was sniffing line at Epstein pedo parties.

Walz just killed Vance with the comment about pence not being there because he betrayed Trump. Vance wouldn’t even be here if he didn’t already kiss the ring and say he would betray the constitution for Trump

Weak ass talking pt by the GOP. The 1st amendment doesn’t extend to the private entities. Facebook can absolutely decide what content they which to have available or accessible on their own platform. We see Elon Musk do it all the time on Twitter

  10. “are you going to contest the results of this year’s election?”

“you kicked people off of Facebook for saying babies shouldn’t wear masks during Covid!”

not even an Olympic long jumper could bridge the gap between the question and answer.

Tim Walz is doing fantastic. Vance is vancing around facts and dignity and Walz hammers back with data and morality. I knew this would be more subdued. Tim is a teacher and not bombastic. Unfortunately Vance possesses +5 Confuse and Fast talking, just carpet bombing every sentence with so many lies that even if you can address one of them, 50 already got by.

  12. StooStooStoodio on

JD never had a stable father figure so it makes sense that he can’t resist Walz’s dad-charm.

Trump is not at all opposed to censorship. What he doesn’t like is fact checking.

  14. Spread of misinformation is a legitimate threat, we saw it during Trumps presidency with COVID. Sad that certain folks support that.
