  1. Why would they join with a bunch of unreliable countries interested only in selling them old weapons? Why would they also let themselves be bound by rules of engagement and protocols that tie their hands? Ukraine won’t need NATO once this is over; Russia is not likely to test Kyiv ever again. Kyiv will likely be better off controlling their own destiny including developing their own weapons?

Second? First, by a very large margin! Turkey may have some numbers, but REALLY no combat experience comparable to the Ukrainians today.

If only they kept there nuclear weapons none of this would have happened .There is a lesson for the world here do not weaken yourself now for tomorrow a tyrant will be born who will want to take everything you own .Peace is only achieved if your carry a big stick

No, Ukraine won’t be the second strongest NATO member in Europe simply. First, Ukraine won’t be able to maintain such a large force in peacetime because the costs are simply to high. Secondly, the AFU’s capabilities such as conducting combined arms operations are pretty low.

  5. Unfortunately, it’s not for Latvia alone to decide.

And there’s plenty others, who would rather avoid Ukraine being in NATO

They will never be NATO. Nato will come up with a sort of longterm partnership but that’s it. It took Poland many years without war to become NATO. Ukraine is war ravaged. Even if the war stops today Ukraine would probably need 10+ years to become a reasonable candidate.

  7. The problem is that Ukraine about to run out of mobilization resources, and Russia still has planty able and willing men left

Putting aside that this is just cheerleading, skeptical they’ll be able to sustain that economically.

If they manage to survive this war.

As much as i want them to take all their terroþitory back, they are losing it bit by bit with loss of soldiers and out equipment :/

Without our direct intervention they are going to lose imo.

With what money? Unless a miraculous turnabout happens, Ukraine is FUCKED economically. For a number of reasons.
