According to FlightRadar there’s 3 commercial planes headed for Tel Aviv currently just milling around in a holding pattern between Cyprus and Israel. Wouldn’t be surprised if they get sent to other countries.

Sitting in an apartment safe room at the moment. Had to pick up my not so little dog and enter the mamad as fast as I could. No idea where my cat is, probably hiding under a bed. A lot of very loud bangs were heard. To everyone who reads this, stay in the shelters until instructed otherwise, and DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FILM INTERCEPTIONS! Easy way to earn a darwin award.
Edit: thank you all for the kind responses. Internet reception is a bit finicky, but the doggo and I are fine. We were issued a clear to be allowed to leave the safe rooms, but I’m waiting for a bit more just in case. Cat is probably hiding under my bed like last time. I won’t lie, this attack was one of the worst ones we endured, but that’s not going to be what will break us. Take care all.

There was also just a mass shooting in Jaffa. Two terrorists stepped off a train and started shooting, killing at least four and wounding fourteen or more. It’s not clear if the shooters had any knowledge of the Iranian attack — it could be a horrible coincidence.
