Is this not the same rumour you hear in every town in Ireland that Ukraine women are running brothels from horse boxes at the local mart?

Wouldn’t be suprised as ireland has become the human trafficking capital of Europe in recent years.

There was literally a brothel in operation in Waterford city, on one of the main arteries into the city centre, 150 meters from the garda station (on the same street), 200 meters from the shopping area.

Like yer women advertising their “wares” in the front window Amsterdam style and all. Multiple local and visiting solicitors seen visiting. Property rented by the council for the purpose of housing Ukrainians. This went on for months. Mental stuff.

    4. Why is the vans part the problem in the headline. Would it be ok if they were in a minibus?

FYI The issue here isn’t the sex work it’s the trafficking. This isn’t pearl clutching puritan nimbyism.

    6. How is it that websites openly advertising prostitutes aren’t immediately shut down

While I’m in complete opposition to the laws enacted here in 2017 criminalising the purchase of sex, I will say that their ineffectiveness in Ireland is in no small part the result of a lack of enforcement. As has been told to me from friends with the knowledge, getting arrested and charged is actually really uncommon.

Thankfully its vans and not SUVs or this sub would lose the plot.

Not to go way off topic but I always assumed the surname Crilly was made up for FrTed

None of this would happen if the government just did the sensible thing and spent the €25 billion surplus on high tech sex robots.
