  1. > “When we sat down with Netflix we made it clear that we wanted this out before the election,” Ferrell told me at the film’s Los Angeles premiere. “We wanted it to have enough runway for people to get to see it and hopefully start having important discussions in their living rooms.”

    > “We’ve heard from people who say they can’t wait to see this with friends and family who maybe don’t share the same viewpoint and they’re looking forward to watching it all together,” Ferrell said. “Hopefully it could slowly chip away at some of that.”

I miss funny or die days when comedians focused on comedy personally

I watched this last night, and really loved it. I hope a lot of people see it, because it totally wasn’t what I expected but I loved it.

It’s wonderful. I often think, if people could just meet and see the joy of someone’s transition, they would never be so hateful. Naive maybe but also, education matters. This is a chance to educate and I’m grateful to them for being brave enough to do it.

I absolutely loved this. I live in an area with a lot of trans people, so I know a good deal just by talking to people in my community, but there were a lot of things that Harper said that I hadn’t intuited (or never really felt it was right to ask). It’s really powerful and really lovely–very moving. Will Ferrell also just comes across as a really solid dude.

Great. Creating division and getting people distracted from more important matters than ignorance and petty judgdement. We are all unemployed, cant afford healthcare, drowning in debt and depression, have no savings AND EVEN IF WE COULD FIND DECENT EMPLOYMENT it still wouldnt be enough to live.

But yeah, let’s make the election about a super rich white tramswoman and her megasuperstar bajillionaire best friend. Bout time we start having some important conversations that liberal ideology is useless if we are all in poor health and getting exploited, abused, and harassed by every corporation every chance they get.

Because then this endless obsessing about cultural/racial/sexual identity is nothing more than a money making rouse by the elite leadership of the left who couldnt give a shit about conditions on the ground. Not that the right is any better. both awful
But this… this is fucking cynical and insulting

If you’re into attacking transgender people, I don’t want to know you. I have no idea why people think they’re in the wrong gender. But I also know it’s not my business.
