  1. Unpopular opinion I’m sure, but I have always thought his show was unwatchable.

Millennials loved Conan because he wasn’t like Jay Leno. Jimmy Fallon is kinda like Jay Leno. Makes sense to me.

How about that time he choked that, now, up and coming director?

Its not just his show, it’s a trend for cable television at large, but yes, Jimmy Fallon should be worried. The whole late night genre is a dying breed. I don’t want to watch your hacky political jokes followed by an uncomfortable interview with an actress I don’t care about.

i watched one of his highlight videos on youtube from a recent show and his energy/quality of jokes was just damn near nonexistent. especially when compared to colbert, kimmel and jon stewart, it’s a night and day difference. honestly depressing to see after he used to be great imo

Out of the four late night hosts, he’s on the bottom. He’s too gung ho, too much of a cheerleader. He’s the People Magazine of late night hosts. And WTF is up with all of the games? Lame.

Talk shows used to be unique. Letterman, Conan, Leno, Arsenio all has very different shows, very different personalities, different comedy styles, a variety of guests, etc.

Now every talk show and host looks exactly same. It’s so boring.

He basically hosts a high budget YouTube channel at this point

He’s not a good host. Everyone is always his favorite and “we just love them”. The fake excitement is just annoying. The show may have 1 or 2 funny reoccurring segments like slow jam the news, but when late night shows are really held up by YouTube uploads, I find myself clicking on Fallon only for a rare musical guest.

  10. The only time I watch is if he has a guest I’m really interested in and even then I skip all the filler and just go to straight to the interview.

Bring back Craig. At least he was authentic

Dude promoted NFTs on his show without disclosing he had a financial stake in them…

He used his show to try and scam people into buying NFTs so he could profit off them in secret… What a piece of shit.

He stepped out of every SNL sketch he ever did, including “More Cowbell.”

    Asshol3e.

We just don’t need two Jimmy’s making the same cheap jokes.

From what I understand, years ago NBC executives urged SNL to drop their musical guests. I believe SNL didn’t have a house band at all for a few seasons in the ’80’s. The network recently axed the live band from Seth Meyers’ show, which must have been costing them practically nothing compared to what they spend on The Roots for the Tonight Show. I imagine NBC is constantly pressuring Fallon to dump live music in order to cut the budget, and Fallon really doesn’t want to do it.

I’ve always thought that Fallon works all these game shows to help offset the cost of The Roots and musical guests in general. But imho, the writing is on the wall. It seems NBC would be happy with pre-recorded music on all their late night shows and no musical guests at all. House bands and musical guests are relics of a different era, much like late night talk shows themselves.

The only way I’ll ever watch The Tonight Show is if Conan is hosting, the way it should have been.

He’s just not funny. He wasn’t funny on SNL, and he isn’t funny now.

Maybe he should try something like “Late night with the devil. “

Fuck I hope so. There are few people less deserving of their success than this unfunny, coke fiend hack.
