    1. Tbh he is quite right. Tactically speaking, it was a genius move by Israel.

Israel has been enduring missile and drone attacks from Hezbollah for almost a year already, so it would make sense that they would respond against that terror group.

The way they did it, made it so almost exclusively the terrorists got targeted and wont be able to continue fighting. By using pagers and walkies, they made Hez be unable to trust any devices. Which made high commanders meet in person. Who then also got targeted by Isreal.

This whole thing was a clearly well planned thing, that yes, you could actually call it genius.

Atleast calling it genius is better than the awful statement that De Sutter made, who called it a terrorist attack…

i’m sure this thread won’t immediately fill up with people acting as useful idiots for hezbollah because they have a personal dislike for someone

    3. It’s terrorism, but yeh tactically it is “genius”.

Calling it genius as a politician makes you look horrible though.

    4. Don’t particularly care what this dipshit thinks of international events

It’s this level of sophistication behind their terrorism that makes the state of Israel stick out like a sore thumb in the region. They’re not used to this, given the age-old cycle of apocalyptic or millenarian semi-nomadic cults bursting out of the deserts to usurp the decadent civilized populace in an orgy of bloodshed, only to become them in turn and fall prey to the next band of desert zealots to replace them. Ibn Khaldun and Nietzsche wrote about this.

Why are we calling a surgical strike against enemy combatants terrorism? I’m generally against what the IDF has been doing in Gaza, and this is basically the opposite of that.
