Anybody wants to go, go what the hell differences they make — they have — and how dishonest was ABC…” – Donald “Stable Genius” Trump.

I think he lost touch with reality back in the 80’s. Not age 80’s but 1980’s. He has been a hateful putz most of his adult life.

    3. If you ever want a mind bending watch/read, take a look at his speeches from previous rallies.

Anyone who can read one of those and still vote for the man isn’t a “patriot”, they’re a cult member.

    4. drakesylvan on

These experts have been saying this for years, but nothing has happened.

    5. Mind_Unbound on

READ: if he loses the elections he won’t be fit to stand trial.

    6. We’ve known this for years. That’s why we don’t vote for him. His base will still vote for him even if he’s literally dead. Kinda tired of all these articles rehashing what we already know.

    7. Rabid_Alleycat on

One doesn’t need to be a mental health expert to know this nor does one need experience in caring for elderly. Even Trump recognizes it but tries to explain to his minions that he’s “weaving.”

    8. LuckEnvironmental694 on

Biden is mastermind of crime syndicate yet not mentally fit. Trump can’t speak in full sentences, can’t stay on focus for a debate against a “dumb woman dei hire” yet he is the best option for our country and a true patriot.

      Great critical thinking Maga.

    9. He is crazy. To Trump, truth is what he says. The act of saying it makes it true. He lives in a bizarre reality where whatever he says becomes true through the act of speaking it.

It’s the defining principle of Republican politics now, I’m sure Vance was trained on this tactic when he was brought on board. Vance whined to the press when he got pushback on his pet eating claim, “why can’t you just accept people saying their truth?”. Vance is explaining how it works; any and every claim they make, endorse or regurgitate is true and must be accepted as true, and merit should be attributed to it simply due to the fact that the claim was something that was said.

Talk about a diagnosis not needing a medical degree. When grandpa started to talk about the “wee people” in the garden we knew he needed more care! 🩺

    11. Why has everyone ignored those alarms for a couple of decades? His cognitive decline isn’t new, it started well before 2015.

Even before that his baseline was not very impressive.

    12. Planet2527 on

He could stand on stage and eat his own scat. His cult will still vote for him.

      Back in 2015:

*”Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you’re a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are — nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? — but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible.”*

Former Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen on Trump’s idea to buy Greenland said of the idea, “It must be an April Fool’s Day joke.”

    15. New_Employee_TA on

It’s very fitting. Be was saying the same stuff about Biden because he knew it was happening to himself

    16. JimBeam823 on

      So have his supporters.

Trump is living in the reality that right wing media has created. He’s not driving the bus anymore.

    17. B0wmanHall on

Even Cult 45 knows he is a cognitive mess. They simply don’t care.

    18. I fear the likelihood when he loses, he will start to do and say things to incite violence in a way that is far more direct and indisputable. And that they will use all these expert claims people have made for years to claim he was in decline and shouldn’t be sent to prison.

    19. He lost touch with reality a long time ago, just like many of his supporters. This isn’t rocket science.

    20. Ok_Produce_9308 on

Check out the podcast shrinking trump for more on his decline and how it intersects with his dementia.

He could be drooling half naked in a diaper and GOP will still vote for him

    22. mtrivisonno on

All of MAGA has list touch with reality. Talk about the herd following a leader over a cliff – this is a perfect example of the herd mentality. I sure hope he loses. My hope and guess is that people will wake up when it’s time to vote and Harris will win by a landslide.

    23. starion832000 on

When exactly was he connected to the same reality as the rest of us?

    24. People keep showing up at his rallies and he goes off on these rants for almost two hours sometimes and it’s word salad gibberish. He’s got diarrhea of the mouth for goodness sake.
      What’s wrong with these people?

    25. Socialworkjunkie13 on

I’ve been saying this since 2016, as a mental health professional he needs an immediate psych and cognitive evaluation.

    26. Single_Suspect_7295 on

I don’t think you need mental experts to see it. Just listen to one of his rants.. I mean speeches for 3 minutes. How this guy is even a potential candidate for president still is baffling to me.

    27. Building_Firm on

When you start down the rabbit hole sometimes it just keep getting deeper. Trump is lost in his maze of bullshit and will never find his way out. Is it also too late for those following him?

    28. dauntingsauce on

      *Trump says something stupid*

Articles 20 years later: “Could Trump be stupid? Here’s what experts have to say.”
