      Isn’t it the Republicans that are crying about election laws changing right before an election? Even though those changes were to adapt to the pandemic.

      Now, they WANT changes with 40 days left?

      And if anyone thinks that one EC vote isn’t important think about this. If the election results came in the way the 538 polling averages are as of today other than Nevada breaking for Trump instead of Harris; with that one EC vote in Nebraska Harris wins 270-268. If that vote for the Omaha area went to Trump it’s a 269-269 tie and Trump would win because the House is in Republican hands.

      Should be federally illegal to change electoral college vote allocation in an election year. Boggles my brain that this was only stopped because one republican said no because of his future political aspirations.

      Campaigns that think they’re winning don’t scramble to change the rules at the last minute.

      This was an act of desperation. Trump’s internal numbers must be less rosy than public polling.

      Hey NBC news, I know this never happens, but somehow your headline is misleading.

      Whoever wrote it is putting out the false impression this is the act or intent of Nebraska’s Governor.

      In truth, this corrupt Governor had every intention of stealing this EC vote. His efforts were stymied at the last minute by a disenfranchised Republican state senator who wouldn’t go along with it. You’ve made it sound like the crooked GOP Governor is actually standing up to Donald Trump, which is untrue.

      Try better next time.

      It’s sad that the fate of this election might lie in this decision that was only made honorably because the governor in question isn’t a MAGA cultist. We’re lucky this time.
