Anecdotally, as a 46-year-old who remembers Carson very well and has always admired his work, I’ve found that most younger people today, even those who are pretty media savvy, have absolutely no idea who he is.

If Biden were still running and he made an error like this, the press would be ratcheting up the attacks. Meanwhile, Trump says it and no one bats an eye. It’s utterly disgusting the double standard in American politics.
