    > Donald Trump tried to distance himself from the controversial Project 2025 blueprint by the Heritage Foundation during the presidential debate against Kamala Harris.
    >
    > “I haven’t read it. I don’t want to read it, purposefully. I’m not going to read it,” he said.
    >
    > However, as The New Abnormal team points out in this week’s Bonus Podcast, that hasn’t stopped him from admitting it will be the cornerstone of his administration if he is elected in November.
    >
    > “The critical job of institutions such as Heritage is to lay the groundwork, and Heritage does such an incredible job at that,” Trump said. “This is a great group, and they’re going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do and what your movement will do when the American people give us a colossal mandate to save America. And that’s coming. That’s coming.”

Well there it is. No matter how many times people try to separate Trump from project 2025, it’s always been the plan. The Heritage foundation was also instrumental during the Reagan Administration. They have always been the strings to many conservative movements.

so he’s going to outsource the Presidency to the Heritage Foundation

A “Third term” since he already served one.

It’s not like he’s been stopped from doing anything illegal before. What’s breaking a 22nd amendment when he’s president? He’ll at first justify it as he didn’t serve two consecutive terms. And then after that, it will have already been rigged enough to ensure he’s president for life while the heritage foundation find a successor since he’ll be well beyond 82 by then.

Trump flew to N Korea to step over the border and shake the hand of the Great Leader who tortures thousands of his own people every day and who tortured an American Student until he was deaf, blind, and twitching jellyfish and then Kim gave him back to his horrified parents. Genius! Strength! Audacity!

Trump loves that shit, and if he wins, he’ll be able to starve, torture and kill whomever he wants per John Roberts. And he will.

    I believe that’s true.

I also believe he hasn’t read it.

Groundwork for what? Creating a dictatorship with an easily manipulated narcissist dipshit “in charge”?

Also looking forward to the people giving a mandate for Trump to kick rocks and instead of being adults about it, they waste millions of dollars in tax payer funds trying to be the biggest sore losers possible, only for SCOTUS to either crown him or the house installs him with some dumbfuck one vote per state nonsense. Like the electoral college on crack.

I’m sure we are all just utterly shocked by this completely obvious revelation

    It’s also laying groundwork for a 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th term…

Not that he is going to live that long, but dictators don’t have terms. His young hand-picked replacement would be set for as many terms as he can squeeze into his limited time on earth

lol, he can’t even keep his own lies straight anymore. First it’s “I don’t even know what Project 2025 is” and now he’s back to praising it publicly. Back and forth like a feather in the wind.

  12. I wish that they would tell us this in the article:

    > “The critical job of institutions such as Heritage is to lay the groundwork, and Heritage does such an incredible job at that,” Trump said. “This is a great group, and they’re going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do and what your movement will do when the American people give us a colossal mandate to save America. When / where did he say that? I suppose I could listen to the podcast.

  13. We’re naïve if we don’t realize this becomes project 2029, 2033, 2037…

See Donald only has concepts of a plan. Heritage has the plan. Trump is the lazy kid picking up his homework off someone else and not even reading it

I swear, you cannot tell with this guy if he’s implicitly supporting P2025, or he’s lost track of the Heritage Foundation’s role in it. Like maybe he’s _against_ P2025 but _for_ the Heritage Foundation charting his administration’s course. Obviously there’s no daylight between them, I just think at this point you can’t tell if he’s switched or clueless. (Obviously not exclusive choices, I mean in this case.)
