You mean, as Germans wake up to see what a nightmare it is to import the third world?

By welcoming culture I’m guessing they mean free for all with generous welfare?

Germany needs to realize it has a problem with reactionary culture.

Was so far right it insisted on shifting significantly left post war. Then was significantly left and saw problems so now it’s flirting with far right again.

Incremental fixes, not reactionary answers. Change border policies if being totally open and welcoming isn’t working, sure. Increase police budget appropriately to security needs. but don’t go full AfD. Never go full AfD.

Welcome culture is often pushed by the people who aren’t subjected to the negative aspects of not being very selective with the people they allow in

  5. Maybe if (some) of the migrants had respected and appreciated their welcoming culture, it wouldn’t have soured?

Germany also has thousands of legal migrants who come from Non-EU, the amount of bureaucracy they have to face from getting visa to work permit is insane, legal immigrants are more pissed as they see the welcome culture as a spit on their face as they had to go through very rigid rules to be in Germany. Getting a schghen visa is very very difficult and Germany has been diluting the while immigration process.

Why go through all the hoops if you could just walk in and claim benefits at par with legal immigrants.

We never got rid of Nazis or their ideology, and now they are stronger than ever since the founding of Germany in 1949.

    not surprising.

Yeah, or far right parties rise because the integration of the welcomed people didn’t go exactly as planned.

‘Welcome culture’ was dashed on the rocks of reality. Many (most?) immigrants that came are not interested in assimilating and contributing, they just want to recreate their home country inside the German welfare system.

Gotta keep importing the next generation of labour to feed the machine. How else can you keep the masses from realising they have bargaining power.

    Same is happening in Australia

Edit. Let me add that it’s a vicious cycle here. Prices for everything have risen so dramatically (generally corporate greed) that people can’t afford to have children so to keep the Ponzi scheme that we call capitalism going they give visas to hundreds of thousands of so called “international students”

I’m thinking of a house guest complaining about the food in your fridge.

Wasn’t there a HUGE increase in sexual harassment and rape once Germany opened its doors?

Ah Germany, where kowtowing to Islam is mandatory but wanting to improve the lives of German citizens first is “racist”

Germany seems to be embracing far-right parties recently. Somewhere I’ve heard this one before.
